Kenya Thunguri AA

A classic, bright Kenyan lot from the historic Thunguri Factory in Nyeri.

Operating since 1962 as part of the Kibirigwi Cooperative, Thunguri receives cherries from over 1,000 smallholder farmers around Karatina. Grown at 1,600+ meters in mineral-rich volcanic soil, the coffee cherries mature slowly to build incredible depth, sweetness, and structure.

Processed using Kenya’s traditional washed method - complete with overnight fermentation, clean water soaking, and 14 days on raised drying beds - this lot offers high clarity and vibrant acidity.
