BRAZIL Sítio Sassafras – Omni

This Reserve lot comes from Sitio Sassafras, a high-altitude farm in Mogiana owned by Francisco Barretto. After decades producing coffee at Fazenda Fortaleza, Francisco established this new site near Poços de Caldas at elevations up to 1,400 meters, among the highest in the region.

Large areas of native forest protect water springs and create cooler growing conditions, slowing cherry maturation and supporting structure and clarity in the cup. Former pastureland is being carefully converted into coffee production, with daily operations led by Aldo, who manages the farm year round.

This natural process Catucaí 2SL reflects the character of the site and marks our first collaboration with Francisco on his own farm, extending a long family history of coffee production in Mogiana.
